Memorial Day Week Vacation

We had a couple stops in mind and a 2 year old dictating our every move....well sort of. He helped us decide where and when to go. He is talking up a sorm these days. It's really amazing that we can have a full conversation with him.He says lots of funny things and kept us very busy. Our first stop was St Augustine, FL. We visited the Castillo de San Juan and the Pirate and Tresure Museum  

He LOVED all the stairs he got to climb. We don't have too many of those by our house.

He loved all the cannons and things to climb and jump off of.

Good thing it was short...they didn't stay on long

Ahoy, Mates! A pirate used magic to pull a gold coin out of thin air and made him laugh and laugh!

Our next stop was Columbia, NC for their amazing ZOO! WE took a quick dip before heading out for the day. Silly Florida boy thought the water was cold!

But once he go in he loved "swimming". Were hoping to get him some lessons soon!

Then off to the Zoo!

They had penguins

Alligators

and Turtles! His favorite!

But the closest encounter was with a GIRAFFE!

Became a Giraffe!

and a Gorilla! LOL He would have been so scared if he looked in the mirror!

A Happy Dymitrik makes a Happy Turner Family day at the Zoo!

Birthday Boy turns 2

Birthday boy woke up to Balloons and a Gift...

And he even forgot about breakfast and went straight to my new puzzle! Surprise Surprise

When we got home Grandma was there!!!!

And she brought more presents!

D got a Little People School bus and there was even a Robot and an Alien! Thanks Andie

We went out for his FAVORITE LOBSTER BISQUE!

He ate all of it

and even tried some magic tricks to make more...but it was all gone.

When we got home we sang "Happy Birthday" to Dymitrik....He doesn't like cake so he had ice crea with a sprinkle cookie.

Sat morning D got a card from his Great Grandma Mickey and his Great Grandpa Turner.

Then went to my JUNGLE ANIMAL Party!

Where my Beach Buddy Gigi came to play

And my friend Royce

And my school girlfiend Isabelle

Jessie played pin the nose on the lion

And showed Dymitrik how to play too

He thanked her with a hug!

Cake Time!

Then it was time to open gifts

Too many so we had to take the rest home. Thank you to all his friends that came out to play. We had such a great time celebrating such a wonderful day.

Mommy and Daddy got to sneak away for their 4th anniversay. May 3rd is just a great day for the Turner family.

Tropical Breeze Resort.....hard to believe 4 years have went by since the most amazing time of our lives.

Thank goodness Grandma C was here to help....Dymitrik and Spot were very happy and comfy!
