Wow I haven't updated this in a while. So here goes.....
St Patty's Day - Dymitrik enjoyed building traps for leprechauns and both kids LOVED Lucky Charms for a special breakfast treat!
Dyimtrik played a season of real T-ball. He hits great, catches pretty good but refused to listen or run hard....maybe next season will be better. Grandpa Doug gained a new name since he was able to come to some of the games. Grandpa Doug-out.
Easter came quick, lots of hunts and treats! I was even able to make a vegan pancake bunny for the kids :)
We celebrated my mothers 60th Birthday a little early before my brother was deployed. Dinner was wonderful and play time was great with cousins!
Back to Florida! Mommy and Mikayla get to spend a lot of time together! Selby Gardens, Mote Marine, Parks, Playgrounds....Life is good
He got to be Grand Master for the day, karate chopped a board, cut his cake with a sword and played with friends.
Another Buffalo visit. This is Uncle Stevie's Farm. Then we celebrated D's Bday with his buffalo friends. Man this kid is spoiled with great opportunities!
Dymitrik brought home some tadpoles from the pond around the corner.....you won't believe what happened after weeks of "feeding" them, petting them and consistently changing their home....look further below... nope not the fish tank...but this was his 5th Birthday gift from Daddy (although I think it was more for Daddy)
D finally learned how to ride without training wheels just a week or two after turning 5. Just got on and rode away on day! And refuses any assistance since.
Next stop Gatlinburg Tennessee. Well actually there were plenty of stops there and back ....
In fact there were
3 Zoos
1 Aquarium
1 Natural Spring
1 Science Museum
oh and
5 Breweries!
JULY 4TH This was the first year we stayed home to light off our own fireworks. We had the neighborhood over like the good old times and D loved every moment. Mikayla on the other hand was SOOOO scared.
Yep there it is weeks later Dymitrik grew Frogs. I actually got to witness one jump out of his hand while he was petting it. Lol! It was an amazing experience for him and I.
Now to get D ready for Kindergarten???? Might be a while for another update. Hope you enjoyed these!
